Longquan celadon is a type of green-glazed Chinese ceramic, known in the West as celadon or greenware, produced from approximately BC 950 TO 1550.
Over 500 kilns have been discovered amongst the Zhejiang and Fujian Province of China.
The Longquan celadons were among the finest of a range of celadon wares produced in China.
"Longquan-type" is increasingly becoming a modern term to describe high class ceramic products.
